The
annual PPHSGB membership Subscription is £10 UK & Europe and £15 for the rest of the world. This applies for both 2009
and 2010.
Membership Benefits
Once your
membership has been confirmed, you will receive:
· Polar Post, the Society’s journal published quarterly.
· PPHSGB Auctions, two postal auctions are usually held each year. The postal auction is also live
when it coincides with a Residential Weekend. All vendors and all bidders MUST be PPHSGB members.
· Members Sales & Wants lists, published in Polar Post subject to members’ demand.
Members are entitled to participate in:
· Residential Weekends held every 2 to 3 years, typically in
the autumn and usually located in Cambridge, England,
open to all PPHSGB members who submit their request on the booking form published in Polar Post. For details see: Events
· London UK Meetings usually held twice a year to coincide with the Saturday of Philatex. The February meeting
includes the AGM. Details are published in advance in Polar Post. [See also Events]
· Joint
Meetings with other Societies as notified in Polar Post.
The Society also has an extensive Library of Polar related book and
articles held by Gerald Mariner. Items may be borrowed by members
on
payment of postage costs.
The PPHSGB is a member of the Association of British Philatelic Societies (ABPS).
